Heather grew up in the Rogue Valley, after spending the majority of her adult life in the Portland area, she decided it was time to shift to a slower pace of life. Southern Oregon was high on the list of places to consider and after a few visits here with her family, everyone agreed that this was where they wanted to call home. 

Heather has an extensive background in hospitality throughout the restaurant scene in Portland, opening and managing many successful eateries. She knows the importance of food and community and how the two tie together. With a strong belief that everyone, no matter their situation, should have access to both good food and caring, supportive communities. Heather is beyond excited to join the RFU family continuing to support the local community and the human need for good, healthy food. 

In her time outside of work she enjoys camping, being near any body of water, and spending time with her husband and two little girls. You will find her hosting dinner parties, working in her garden, and planting flowers in her immense yard.
